Barahona GO Trip!
Are you ready to make an impact on a family’s life?
Join Team Leader Tracy Cooper on a GO Trip to Barahona, Dominican Republic, partnering with missionary Bill & Karen Rumple and Grace & Peace Missionary Fellowship. The team will serve a family in the Children’s ministry by building them a home. If we raise enough funds, then we will also build a home for a widow in their widow’s program and bring a second team of 8.
Who Can Go?
This trip is open anyone older than 14 years of age.
What Will We Do?
We’ll follow the leading of the Holy Spirit as we come alongside Dominican’s.
Ministry opportunities will include:
• Mixing concrete - contribute to the foundational work that supports a community.
• Building a home - build a stable home that will bless generations.
• Experience the amazing work of the Lord’s love - see firsthand how God moves through service, compassion, and shared mission.
• Develop relationships - connect with team members, local Dominicans, and the families that you serve as you grow together in faith and purpose.
Be ready for the unexpected! God often works most powerfully in unplanned moments.
Where Will We Stay?
We will stay on the grounds of Grace & Peace in Barahona.
Requirements:
A valid U.S. passport is required. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your entry into the Dominican Republic.

💰 Trip Cost
The estimated cost is $2,200, per person and includes:
• Airfare*
• Lodging
• Ground transportation
• Meals
• $450 towards the cost of the build (unless we receive donations).
• You will be responsible for spending money and meals on travel days.
*Airfare rates will be finalized once flights are booked, so the total trip cost may increase or decrease based on final airfare pricing.
📅 Payment Schedule
• $200 non-refundable deposit due at registration.
• 30% of total trip cost due at the first team meeting.
• Remaining balance paid in scheduled increments.
• Full balance due two weeks before trip departure.
