Our Practices
We practice obeying the Bible and the teachings of Jesus.
"If you love me, you will obey my commandments."
We practice tithing and generosity as godly stewardship.
"A tithe of everything you produce belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord."
We practice believer's baptism.
"Repent and be baptized, everyone of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins."
We practice regular communion (4 - 6 times per year).
"The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks,
he broke it and said, 'This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.'
In the same way, after supper he took the cup saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in
my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.' For whenever you eat
this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes."
We practice living in dependence on the Holy Spirit.
"I am the vine, you are the branches. If you abide in me and I in you, you will bear
much fruit; but apart from me you can do nothing."
We practice telling others about Christ.
"Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for
the hope that you have."
We practice justice and peacemaking.
"Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification."
We practice the permanency of marriage.
"For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife,
and the two will become one flesh. So, they are no longer two, but one. Therefore,
what God has joined together, let man not separate."
We practice living simply.
"A man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions."
We practice serving others with our gifts and talents.
"Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others."
We practice the daily habits that lead to spiritual transformation.
"Therefore, let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity."
We practice living in community.
"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one
another. By this, all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
