Kids

Authentic Faith. Authentic Community.

At Grace Kids, our goal is to help children develop a genuine love for Jesus, build a Biblical foundation for their lives, grow with friends and leaders, and love being at church! All of our activities are made to be age-appropriate, engaging, safe, and FUN!

We carefully screen and train each of our volunteers, and all classrooms are equipped with a secure check-in/check-out process.

Your First Visit

From babies to fourth graders, our team wants to give your family an excellent experience.

When you arrive, our team will happily show you the way to the children’s area. You’ll go to the new family check-in station where you can tell us a little about your family to help us serve you well. On our check-in form we’ll ask things like what allergies your child may have, how many children are in your family, and get your contact information.

Then, you and your child will both get a sticker with a matching code. If for any reason we need to reach you during the service, you’ll see your child’s code on the screen. This sticker is also what you’ll use to pick up your child after the service.

Once the tags are printed, you are ready to drop your child off in their appropriate classroom for the morning!

WHAT DOES A NORMAL SUNDAY GATHERING LOOK LIFE FOR MY KIDS?

Starting with babies, we care about the experience your kids have in church! Nursery is a clean, safe and nurturing environment where your child will begin to discover who God is through the love, comfort, and care from our volunteers. This allows parents to experience a worry- free worship gathering!
At this age, children start to engage more with their church experience, so we help them interact and build their faith through stories, crafts, and songs that give them Biblical truths. They also start to form relationships with other kids and their teachers.
Grace Kids is the best place for your elementary aged child to build a biblical foundation for their life through Bible lessons, interactive games, engaging worship songs, and small group time. Here they will be given the opportunity to start a life-changing relationship with Jesus and develop into the leaders that God created them to be.

Parent Commissioning

Jesus’ parents dedicated Him to God when he was a child (Luke 2:22–40). With a heart to follow this Biblical model, we also offer the opportunity for you to dedicate your children. The purpose of Parent/Child dedication is for parents to present their child before God and the church, committing to raising their child in a way that glorifies Christ.

What To Expect

Every Parent Commissioning celebration has a parent meeting prior to the celebration. At this time, we go over why we do commissioning, discuss what raising a child that follows Jesus looks like, and the order of service for the day of the celebration.
