We served in Latin America from 1988-2008. Our first decade of ministry centered on Church Leadership Development among the Quechua people of Bolivia's southern highlands. We taught at the Sucre Bible Institute, supported a new church plant with teaching and made numerous trips to villages for their growth and gospel outreach. Marilyn mentored young Quechua women and pastors' wives in children's ministry while teaching children at church and raising our sons. Later we served in Bolivia's central valley, Cochabamba, providing pastoral and ministry oversight to the SIM's largest team in country while discipling and mentoring Bolivian young adults and those preparing for ministry in Bolivia and in other cultures. From 2008, our ministry has been at SIM USA in Charlotte, North Carolina preparing new missionaries and supporting field missionaries though administrative services. In 2018, we were asked to return to Bolivia to serve as field director. We relocated to Bolivia in early 2019.
