Rick & Kim's Story

I was born in Brazil. My parents were missionaries with Wycliffe Bible Translators, and we lived in Brazil until I was fourteen years old. After moving back to the United States, and having completed high school and college, I taught high school for five years. While at Bryan College, I met my wife, Kim, and after graduation, we were married. In 1990, we moved to Brazil as missionaries with Word of Life to help start a missionary training institute to prepare Brazilian young people to reach the river people of the Amazon. God blessed us with two wonderful son's, Matt and Greg, who along with their families, are also serving the Lord as missionaries.
